Redid the edge on my sweater so it's less curly (unpicked the cast off and redid it with bigger needles). I did this on the way to the Sheep & Wool Festival in Rhinebeck, NY. There's a grand knitter tradition of making a sweater specifically for this event, and especially finishing it on the drive over. So, even though I've been wearing this sweater for a year or more, I think finally fixing the edging on the drive over (I wove in the ends as we were driving to the fairgrounds) totally counts.
Before (edge curls upwards like crazy and blocking cannot fix it):
After (actually has potential to lay flat, especially if I blocked it with pins, which I haven't bothered with):
Also finished cloak for kiddo (hemmed and added clasp):
He won't wear it, but it goes all the way to the floor, so he has some time to change his mind before he grows out of it.
